What We’re Looking For
We seek a hands-on individual who enjoys owning tangible assets such as switches, firewalls, servers, and racks. As we continue to grow rapidly, it’s crucial for our infrastructure to expand accordingly. The ideal candidate should already be based in the UAE to understand our office setup and vendors from day one.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Running our on-prem network, firewalls, and servers
- Designing cloud network architecture and setting network requirements in collaboration with product teams
- Supporting live demos to ensure reliability of our presentations
- Shaping our local GPU strategy
- Procuring physical assets, from hardware to vendors
What Makes This Role Different
This position uniquely bridges physical infrastructure and cloud services. Unlike typical roles, you'll be directly involved in both aspects, working closely with engineers who depend on your setup without layers of management. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to shape our GPU strategy.
Skills We Need
- Solid experience with on-prem networking, firewalls, and server management
- Working knowledge of cloud networking (Azure preferred)
- Comfort in owning procurement and vendor relationships
- Based in the UAE, with relevant local experience
- Clear communication skills to interact with both engineers and non-engineers
What We’re Not Looking For
We are not looking for individuals seeking a narrow, ticket-driven role or those who prefer remote-only work. This is an on-site position, where you will be close to the hardware and frequently be the first contact when urgent issues arise.
