The company is an IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization that has been partnering with many of the world’s largest businesses in their transformation journeys for over 50 years. The company offers a consulting-led, cognitive powered, integrated portfolio of business, technology, and engineering services and solutions. This Infrastructure Lead position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and requires a full-time on-site commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automated Deployment Pipelines: Standardize and manage end-to-end deployment processes across all environments (SIT, UAT, Regression, Production, and DR), ensuring seamless integration and consistent application stack management through automated CI/CD workflows.
  • Advanced Linux Automation: Design and implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline regular deployments, patching, and system configurations.
  • Infrastructure Management: Take full ownership of RHEL and other Linux-based enterprise activities. Manage scaling and integration for the application stack across all controlled environments.
  • Operational Resilience: Lead 24/7 support for critical issues. Conduct quarterly Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and backup testing to guarantee RTO/RPO targets are met.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce RBAC, data encryption, and privacy standards. Ensure the platform remains compliant with PCI-DSS and GDPR through rapid patching (within 30 days) and vulnerability remediation.
  • Performance & Monitoring: Utilize performance fine-tuning to meet strict application SLAs. Maintain detailed audit logs, health checks, and proactive monitoring to identify issues before they impact users.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Coordinate with internal IT, InfoSec, and third-party vendors. Manage the escalation matrix, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and maintain high-quality documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: In Linux Systems Engineering and Enterprise Operations.
  • Automation Mastery (Must-Have): Expert proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management and infrastructure-as-code. Strong Shell, Python, or Perl scripting skills.
  • OS Expertise: Deep knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration, kernel tuning, and security hardening.
  • Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes clusters and containerization.
  • Middleware & Data: Knowledge of WSO2 APIM/IS, Redis in-memory data stores, and the ELK Stack for centralized logging.
  • Network Security: Familiarity with load balancers, firewalls, and secure integration patterns.
  • Certifications: RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) is a must. CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) is highly preferred.
