Responsibilities

  • Leading and collaborating with innovation specialists, peer group innovation managers, and other IT and business stakeholder groups to finalize future initiatives, utilizing business value and assessment of available capacity.
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and service management teams to ensure the overall backlogs are balanced for a scalable, user-optimized, stable, and performant technology product that continually meets business needs.
  • Define methodology for the analysis and response to target metrics and value, including recommended improvements for use during design workshops, aiming to drive increased use and adoption.
  • Build a peer group robotics and future technologies community, offering support and suggestions for growth and advancement.
  • Maintain the quality and integrity of features within technical and team boundaries, identifying risks and dependencies.
  • Work with innovation team members to capture and consolidate team-driven innovation ideas for stakeholder playback.
  • Partner with product vendors to evaluate technologies and solutions through proof of concepts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree specializing in mechatronics and 8+ years of experience in a ‘team facing’ capacity.
  • Experience building, delivering, and supporting robotics, AI, and automation systems.
  • 3 to 5 years of practical experience working as a project manager, with a proven record of driving discernible ideation, change, and delivery.
  • While not essential, experience of working within an Agile environment across multiple initiatives and circa 50+ teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey Product Vision to stakeholders and influence a wide range of stakeholders across the organization.
  • Leadership capabilities to grow into a senior leadership position.
  • Positive attitude and ability to drive discernible change and delivery in a pressurized environment.
  • Agile and innovative mindset with the tenacity to adapt and thrive in a constantly changing environment.
