The company is looking for an Electro-mechanical Inspector to join our Operations & Maintenance team.
Job Description:
- Ensure compliance with the Contract Documents and approved methods.
- Inspect operation, maintenance, and construction work, including temporary works.
- Maintain records of inspections and executed work.
- Assist in measuring work as required by the Resident Engineers (RE) and Assistants.
- Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Assist with the preparation of "As-built" drawings and inspection of completed works.
- Prepare snag lists and hand over to the operating authority.
- Ensure performance of work aligns with plans and specifications.
- Maintain a detailed diary of daily work activities and issues.
- Interface with the public to mitigate construction impacts.
- Coordinate with the Contractor’s engineers and Foremen to ensure proper execution of work.
- Arrange for sampling and testing of completed work and materials.
- Check line and grade of completed work for conformance.
- Report any issues regarding the Contractor's methods or compliance.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in infrastructure projects, particularly in operation and maintenance of electro-mechanical assets, lighting systems, fountains, and pumping stations.
- UAE experience is essential.
- Equivalency certificate is required.
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience in Operation & Maintenance projects is advantageous.
- Good command of English and Arabic communication.
