Inspector, QC

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control inspections of military vehicles, components, assemblies, small arms, or spares as required by the specific workshop/store allocation.
• Verify all maintenance/repair tasks have been completed as per the job plan.
• Interact directly with mechanics, senior mechanics, supervisors, managers, and internal and external customers to resolve quality-related issues.
• Prepare Material Deficiency Reports (MDRs) for any defective materials identified.
• Conduct HSE internal training for AL TAIF employees and relevant contractors.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree/diploma in a subject relevant to the specific Inspector, QC opening is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of previous experience working with military vehicles, components, assemblies, small arms, spares, or in failure analysis, engineering, and welding is required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20kg when applying for an Inspector, QC role in Supply and Material.
• Must have a valid UAE driver’s license.

Skills Required

• An ability to read and interpret technical/owner’s manuals is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software is required.
• An ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
