Installed Based Service Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned, experienced professional Installed Based Service Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Operate as LV/MV Specialist with protection capability.
• MV troubleshooting, erection, and maintenance of our MV products/equipment.
• LV troubleshooting, retrofit mechanical bus bar modification, erection, maintenance, and testing of LV products/equipment.
• Assist in spare parts/retrofit/extension panels preparation and contract execution.
• Knowledge in LV switchgear such as Okken / Blok set.
• Knowledge in Masterpact NT/NW, Compact Breakers, and Micrologic (LV Trip unit).
• Interfacing with customers to clarify technical matters and rectify all related problems of MV/LV products/equipment.
• Programming and troubleshooting of protection relays (SEPAM, MICOM & VIP); knowledge of other manufacturers’ relays is a plus.
• Testing and commissioning of MV/LV equipment/products.
• Perform contract execution for spare parts, retrofit extension panels, and maintenance jobs.
• Hands-on work experience with company products such as MC set, Okken, PIX, GenieEvo, GHA, GMA, WS.
• Responsible for project delivery and field activities on customer installed base.
• Execute technical tasks following notification dedicated to asset management offers and projects.
• Ensure complex installation, maintenance, and repair on customer installed base.
• Identify new opportunities while attending customer sites to promote Services growth.
• Engage in knowledge transfer within Services Field domain with a coordination role of job hold.

Key Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in installation, mechanical retrofit, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Good communication and interfacing skills.
• Ability to work onsite (flexible hours) as per job requirements (onshore/offshore).
• Must have digital experience and fulfill the KPIs.
• ADDC/DEWA approval is an added advantage.
• Mandatory GIS switchgear experience, especially in GHA, GMA, WS.
• Knowledge of Windows MS Office and software related to test equipment and relays, with LV specialization software experience.
