Key Responsibilities

- Data Security and Confidentiality: Ensure that institutional data is secured and compliant with data protection laws and privacy regulations.
Analysis and Reporting
- Trend Analysis: Analyze institutional trends over time, such as enrollment patterns and retention rates.
- Statistical Analysis: Use statistical methods to analyze relevant data related to student achievement and operational efficiency.
- Benchmarking: Compare institutional data with peer institutions or national averages to identify areas for improvement.
- Custom Reports: Generate custom reports for leadership, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
Support for Institutional Planning
- Provide data and analysis to inform strategic planning efforts, including institutional goals.
- Evaluate effectiveness of academic programs and initiatives to support continuous improvement.
- Provide data-driven insights for resource allocation, budget planning, and staffing.
- Utilize predictive analytics for forecasting enrollment and student success rates.
Accreditation and Compliance Reporting
- Support accreditation processes by providing necessary data and evidence.
- Design and administer surveys related to institutional effectiveness and satisfaction.
Survey Design and Data Collection
- Develop and administer surveys to gather data on key areas of institutional performance.
- Analyze survey results to derive insights for institutional improvement.
- Conduct qualitative research through focused groups and interviews.
- Collect feedback from students, alumni, and other stakeholders.
Support for Institutional Effectiveness
- Provide data support for program assessment efforts.
- Support continuous improvement by tracking growth over time.
Decision Support for Leadership
- Create and maintain dashboards for senior leadership with real-time data on key metrics.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to address specific institutional issues.
Enrollment Management Support
- Analyze data related to enrollment patterns and trends.
- Forecast future enrollment trends for effective planning.
- Monitor student success metrics to inform retention strategies.
Faculty and Staff Research and Analysis
- Analyze data on faculty and staff performance to support institutional improvement.
- Provide data for workforce planning and staffing needs.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with departments to meet data needs and ensure effective information sharing.
- Communicate institutional data to external stakeholders and maintain internal transparency.
Institutional Data Management and Technology
- Oversee data management systems and ensure operational efficiency.
- Implement data visualization tools for accessible decision-making.

Research on Institutional Effectiveness
- Conduct studies to assess the effectiveness of programs, policies, and strategies.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in educational research, statistics, data science, higher education, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in institutional research or data analytics, preferably in higher education.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and familiarity with UAE higher education frameworks.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) and visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience in managing institutional research projects and reports.
- Understanding of institutional effectiveness models and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative research methods and survey administration.
