Within CO&I, the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft’s cloud business. The MS portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. Work Conditions:

Responsibilities:
- Project management of all integration and fit-out activities associated with MSFT owned systems and critical infrastructure.
- Identify and manage scopes and interdependencies between all stakeholders.
- Coordinate the handover process and ensure documentation and expectations are met.
- Produce and manage project plans and execute major milestones on Microsoft lease projects.
- Advocate for managing a safe worksite and support the implementation of the Microsoft High Risk Activity program.
- Collaborate with the Data Center Engineering team to review and execute designs.
- Manage vendor selection, contracting, and integration of multiple vendors and internal partners.
- Report project progress on scope, schedule, and budget as required.
- Track lessons learned and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND extensive experience or equivalent experience.
- Experience in construction health & safety and managing multiple large projects.
- Detailed understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including installation and troubleshooting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and self-direct in support of the DCD Project.
- Willingness to travel 25-50%.
