Position

The Integration and Testing Engineer will be responsible for supporting Grid Automation (GA) regions. This position involves providing support to regional teams during all project phases from Tender to warranty, which includes offering documentation, advice, and best practices during the Configuration phase, as well as resolving issues during internal validation and site commissioning.

Responsibilities

  • Support regional teams during project life from the Tender phase to the end of the warranty, providing documentation and advice during the Configuration phase and resolving issues during internal validations and commissioning at the site.
  • Assist customers during project execution by providing documentation, immediate containment, driving closure, and writing technical reports, as well as conducting failure and root cause analysis.
  • Be ready to travel for troubleshooting at sites to provide local support, investigate issues, take notes, and report final issue analyses. Lead task forces on strategic projects.
  • Maintain a qualification platform in the factory, updating it according to reproducible issues or tests needed for new R&D releases and informing about new equipment required.
  • Provide compliance tables for systems and advise regional teams on utilizing the best system version for projects while keeping them aware of best practices for using the latest available version.
  • Manage the preparation of training materials, platform setup, and training agendas. Deliver training to regional teams or R&D, and update training presentations regularly according to new product/system evolutions.
  • Coach and develop regional team expertise to ensure delivery of innovative projects that meet customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience leading technical project execution in grid automation portfolios.
  • Willingness to travel 25% to 50% of the time. Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Strong experience with computer technology, protection and control system design, validation, commissioning, cyber security, and communication protocols such as IEC61850, IEC 103, Modbus, DNP3.0, TCP/IP, and Ethernet.

Eligibility Requirement

  • The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restrictions.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, customer-focused, and enthusiastic.
