Tasks and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Integration Manager to design tests and create test plans based on system design, risk analysis, and customer requirements.
- Organize test preparation meetings with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and customers regarding Integration and Commissioning matters.
- Develop test designs based on the test plan and documentation; create test cases and automatic test scripts; prepare and set up the IT infrastructure and deploy necessary software.
- Optimize resources and time management to reduce operational costs.
- Execute integration, system, and customer acceptance tests on-site.
- Analyze and report on test results, production issues, and verify solutions.
- Maintain accurate Test Records in accordance with the Integration Plan.
- Discuss outcomes with developers, solution architects, customers, and team members.
- Prepare and implement procedures for managing non-conformities and corrective actions, ensuring follow-up and closure.
- Support Lifecycle Services by reviewing lifecycle service proposals and RMRs, acting as custodian of the system to guarantee operational readiness.
- Identify areas for improvement based on customer feedback and operational insights.
Your Profile
You are an analytical problem solver who considers the system as a whole while managing the details. You thrive in an international, multi-disciplinary engineering team environment.
- Technical degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, or Control Technology) at a minimum of bachelor level.
- Experience with Siemens PLC/TIA Portal and Allen-Bradley PLCs is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in Test & Requirement management tools such as Polarion, HP Quality Centre, DOORS, JIRA.
- Strong affinity for IT, Industrial Automation, and interest in logistic processes.
- Previous experience in the material handling domain is beneficial.
- Desired experience level of 8 years and above.
- Knowledgeable in Systems Engineering and/or Software Development.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and techniques.
- Understanding of automated test tools (execution, result registration, test management).
- Excellent listening skills to gather customer insights and preferences.
- Strong coordination skills across different work fronts to ensure test readiness.
- Pragmatic attitude with the ability to balance quality, lead time, costs, and technology.
- Assertive team player with a proactive and hands-on approach.
