Integration Engineer

BlackStone eIT is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Integration Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be key in developing and implementing integration solutions that connect our software applications to other systems, enhancing data flow and operational efficiency. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their integration needs and deliver solutions that align with business objectives. Your understanding of integration technologies and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring that our systems communicate effectively, providing a better service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement integration solutions that facilitate data exchange between applications and systems.
• Collaborate with software developers and other engineers to define integration requirements and specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues arising from integration points and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor and maintain the performance of integration solutions, optimizing as necessary.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes and configurations.
• Research and recommend new integration tools and methodologies to improve efficiency.
• Assist in the deployment of integration solutions and provide support during the transition.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with integration tools and technologies (e.g., MuleSoft, Apache Camel, Talend) is preferred.
• Understanding of API integration methods, including RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices.
