Responsibilities:

  • Autopilot Management: Set up, maintain, and fine-tune autopilots for various drone platforms to ensure optimal performance.
  • Payload Integration: Install, configure, and test various payloads, including imaging (RGB, multispectral, thermal), sensing (LiDAR, SAR, environmental sensors), and actuation (spraying, seeding, custom tools) to meet mission objectives.
  • Autonomy & Mission Integration: Configure and adapt autonomy modules and SDK-based systems for enabled mission execution and automated operations.

Required Skills:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in flight control, UAV integration, or related fields.
  • Autopilot & Frameworks: Hands-on expertise with PX4, ArduPilot, DJI SDKs (or equivalents), and simulation tools such as Gazebo and ROS2.
  • Programming: Proficiency in C, C++, and Python for embedded development, system integration, and toolchain scripting.
  • UAV Systems Knowledge: Practical experience with various autopilot platforms, payloads, and communication protocols.
  • Technical Tools: Strong skills in software/hardware debugging, simulation environments, and integration workflows for flight control systems.
  • Flight Experience (Nice-to-Have): Operating drones with the appropriate pilot license is a strong asset.

Education Requirements:
A Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
