Position

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an Intellect Operations Support Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience with Intellect products, including core, lending, integrator, Armor, and ARX. The primary responsibilities include providing operational support for Intellect applications in production and non-production environments on a shift basis, deploying Intellect modules according to approved release notes, setting up new environments for installation, establishing End of Day (EOD) environments on Unix platforms, utilizing automation skills to enhance operational efficiency, managing monitoring tools, and providing timely technical support to ensure minimal disruption to core operations.

Additional responsibilities encompass creating and managing change requests related to core applications and security compliance, handling incident response readiness tasks, and performing OS and database patching. Collaboration with infrastructure teams and compliance with bank policies are also key aspects of the role.

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time, Shift-based (24/7 support for multiple international regions)

Grade Specific Requirements:

  • Proficient in Sun Solaris 11 with expertise in system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Skilled in Oracle database management.
  • Experienced with WebLogic application server administration.
  • Familiar with SFTP, Citrix, and network configuration.
  • Strong SQL understanding.
  • Involved with Business Continuity Planning (BCP) in Disaster Recovery (DR).

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly OS and database patching.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to simulate DR scenarios.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve application-related IT incidents.
  • Comply with bank policies and audit support responsibilities.
