Responsibilities:
- Accelerate opportunities with customers through technical presentations, workshops, solution assistance, and demonstrations.
- Respond to Requests for Information and Proposals related to product and architecture queries.
- Create customized analytics demos and support account teams in promoting Intelligent Data Lake as a key differentiator.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of business drivers, customer needs, and market trends.
- Collaborate with product management and account engineering teams.
- Develop product expertise through training, research, and staying current with industry developments.
Profile:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Technical:
- 7+ years of Solution Engineering or related experience, with a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years in data engineering, with experience in building and maintaining large-scale data processing pipelines.
- Experience with Data Lakes (Databricks, Fabric) and streaming technologies (Kafka).
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Scala) and relational database systems (preferably Oracle).
- Knowledge of NoSQL technologies, data warehouse concepts, and building data products.
- Understanding of distributed systems, data partitioning, and fault tolerance, along with familiarity in data modeling and optimization.
- Good knowledge of the IT market, especially in Data Lakes/Lakehouses and analytic workloads.
Non-Technical:
- Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills for engaging with technical and C-level stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
- Openness to diverse languages and cultures, with the ability to work in (virtual) teams spread across different countries.
- A self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and tackle new challenges.
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic is preferred.
