As a member of the Intelligent Data Lake team, you will play a crucial role in accelerating customer opportunities, create customized analytics demos, and help account teams position Intelligent Data Lake as a key differentiator for innovative data landscapes. Additionally, you will work closely with product management and engineering teams while keeping abreast of business drivers and market trends.
Responsibilities:
- Accelerate customer opportunities through technical presentations and hands-on demonstrations.
- Answer Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal regarding product and architecture inquiries.
- Proactively support account teams in leveraging Intelligent Data Lake as a strategic advantage.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of industry trends, customer needs, and product functionalities.
- Participate in product training and engage with relevant materials to enhance expertise.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Over 7 years of Solution Engineering experience or related fields, with a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 3 years in data engineering and constructing large-scale data processing pipelines.
- Familiarity with Data Lakes (like Databricks), Kafka, and streaming technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, alongside SQL.
- Comprehensive understanding of data warehouse and lake concepts, including distributed systems.
- Basic knowledge of Machine Learning and data visualization tools.
Non-Technical Skills:
- Exceptional communication abilities for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Willingness to engage with diverse cultures and languages.
- Self-driven and eager to rapidly learn new products and technologies.
Language Skills:
Candidates should be proficient in one or more languages, including German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Arabic.
