Responsibilities:
- Accelerate opportunities with customers through technical presentations, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations.
- Respond to Requests for Information and Proposals regarding product and architecture inquiries.
- Create customized analytics demonstrations.
- Support account teams in positioning Intelligent Data Lake as a key innovation tool for customers.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of business drivers and market trends.
- Foster collaboration with product management and engineering teams.
- Develop product expertise through training and ongoing education.
Qualifications:
- Technical:
- 7+ years of Solution Engineering or related experience with a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years in data engineering, focused on designing and maintaining large-scale data processing pipelines.
- Familiarity with Data Lakes, particularly Databricks and Fabric; experience with Kafka and streaming technologies.
- Good knowledge of Spark, SQL, relational and NoSQL databases.
- Expertise in data warehouse, data mart, and data lake concepts.
- Understanding of distributed systems, data partitioning, and fault tolerance.
- Knowledge in building data products and cloud technology.
- Certification in cloud, analytics, or data technologies is a plus.
- Non-Technical:
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Openness to collaborate with diverse cultures and languages.
- Motivated with a genuine eagerness to learn new products and approaches.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Arabic.
