About the Job:
The EMEA Intelligent Data Lake team is responsible for supporting the EMEA account teams through various means such as answering tenders, conducting workshops, customizing demos, and directly aiding customers' specific requests. We seek individuals who are eager to build deep product knowledge, collaborate with the product management group, and conceptualize solutions in the area of Intelligent Data Lake, all while working in an international environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with the latest product offerings, develop broad expertise in customer interaction, communication, and IT market knowledge. Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate customer opportunities with new and existing clients through technical presentations, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations.
  • Answer Requests for Information and Requests for Proposals as part of our Solution Assistance offering.
  • Assist in creating customized analytics demos and proactively support account teams in positioning Intelligent Data Lake as a key differentiator.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of relevant business drivers, customer needs, market trends, and collaborate with product management and engineering teams.
  • Continuously develop product expertise through training and research.

Qualifications:
Technical:

  • 7+ years of Solution Engineering experience, with a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, designing, and maintaining large-scale data processing pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Data Lakes (e.g., Databricks, Fabric), Kafka, streaming technologies, Spark, and programming languages (Python, Java, Scala).
  • Knowledge of relational databases (preferably Oracle), SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing, ML algorithms, and cloud technology.

Non-Technical:

  • Excellent communication skills with technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams.
  • Openness to diverse cultures and languages, with a preference for candidates who speak German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Arabic.
