Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an interface management plan.
- Identify and document all interface points between different project components and stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular interface meetings to ensure alignment and coordination.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all interface-related issues.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including airport authorities, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project progress and any interface-related changes.
- Identify potential interface issues and conflicts early in the project lifecycle and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior management as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all interface points, meetings, and decisions.
- Prepare regular interface management reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality in all interface management activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in interface management and implement best practices.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, focusing on interface management in large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the aviation sector.
- Strong understanding of airport operations and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP or similar project management certification.
- Previous experience in the Middle East region.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate in Arabic is a plus.
