Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Work Conditions: Full-time, intermittent travel to a remote location on the western coast of Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface Governance: Develop, implement, and maintain the Project-specific Interface Management Plan (IMP), procedures, and protocols in strict accordance with PMO standards.
- Identification & Documentation: Lead the identification, documentation, and continuous update of the Master Interface Register (MIR) and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) across all project disciplines.
- Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and track potential interface conflicts and dependencies that impact the schedule or scope. Facilitate and lead technical working groups and coordination meetings.
- Cross-Contract Alignment: Coordinate and ensure alignment of technical and logistical dependencies between General Contractors (GCs), design consultants, and internal project teams.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a central point of contact for interface inquiries, ensuring clear communication flow between construction teams, client representatives, and regulatory authorities in KSA.
- Reporting & Metrics: Prepare and present regular, data-driven interface status reports, highlighting critical interface risks and schedule impacts.
- System Integrity: Ensure consistent use of the project's dedicated Interface Management System (IMS) for all documentation and tracking.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient with dedicated Interface Management software (e.g., Coreworx, BIM platforms).
- Prior experience working on complex projects in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
Desired Skills:
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Project Management, Design Coordination, or Interface Management on large-scale infrastructure or complex building projects.
- Familiarity with PMO environments.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary construction workflows and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and contractual scope boundaries.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
