About the Role
As an Intern in IT Audit, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to various audit engagements. Your role will involve supporting the audit process through testing and evaluating records, systems, and controls, while also gaining exposure to the company's methodologies and tools. You will work closely with engagement teams and clients, assisting in identifying opportunities to enhance the IT control environment and helping to provide practical recommendations.
About the Job
During your internship, you will be expected to:
- Assist in testing and evaluating records, systems, and controls as part of IT audit engagements.
- Develop an understanding of the company's IT Audit Specialist approach, methodology, and tools, including computer-assisted audit techniques.
- Perform analytical reviews of audit documentation and accurately document the procedures performed and results obtained.
- Review client accounting and operating procedures, as well as systems of internal controls over revenue and financial reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with engagement teams and relevant client personnel to support audit execution.
- Help identify opportunities to improve the IT control environment and contribute to the development of practical recommendations.
- Manage assigned tasks and deliverables according to work plan specifications and agreed deadlines.
- Proactively seek on-the-job learning opportunities to continuously build technical and professional knowledge.
- Demonstrate a strong digital mindset and curiosity for adopting new technologies, including AI, with a willingness to learn and apply firm-approved tools.
- Apply sound judgment and integrity when handling client information, ensuring confidentiality and ethical professional conduct.
- Show practical exposure to AI tools through university projects or day-to-day productivity, with the ability to explain how AI supported outcomes.

Qualifications
To be considered for this internship, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate with a BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Accounting and Auditing, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of IT audit concepts, risk assessment, internal controls, and audit documentation is advantageous.
- Relevant internships, university projects, summer positions, or school job experiences are a plus.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced professional setting.
- Fluency in English (reading, speaking, and writing); bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is an additional advantage.
