Internal Auditor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor to assess internal controls, review financial information, and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will help identify operational and financial risks, recommend improvements, and support the organization's commitment to effective governance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic internal audits to assess compliance with established policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Review and analyze financial data, reports, and records to identify potential risks, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports outlining findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and support organizational objectives.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up with relevant departments on corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and auditing best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate audit findings effectively.
