Purpose
The role focuses on offshore installation engineering, where the methodology and assessment processes ensure the safe transport, lifting, and installation of offshore platforms and renewable energy assets. Your contributions will be part of the final stage of delivering offshore energy projects.
Responsibilities
As an intern, you will actively participate in an ongoing project team, taking on responsibilities including:
- Supporting the development of offshore installation procedures and method statements;
- Participating in rigging design activities, including lifting arrangements and equipment selection;
- Contributing to preliminary installation analyses and feasibility assessments;
- Preparing engineering sketches and installation drawings using AutoCAD;
- Assisting in the definition of installation sequences and operational constraints;
- Participating in risk identification and operational reviews;
- Supporting the preparation of engineering deliverables for offshore execution.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, project, and installation engineers, and interact with offshore operational personnel and vessel teams. By the end of the internship, you will have significantly contributed to an actual offshore installation project, enhancing your understanding of the complete engineering workflow.

Education

- Naval Architecture / Hydrodynamics;
- Ocean Engineering;
- Data Science or Applied Mathematics.
Required Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Interest in multidisciplinary engineering environments;
- Ability to understand and integrate various engineering disciplines into a global operational vision;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Additional Assets
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software;
- Interest in marine and offshore operations.
