About The Role:
As a Java Engineering Intern, you will be part of our Technology team, contributing to the development of systems and experiences that drive the company's success. This role involves:

  • Building APIs and developing microservices.
  • Optimizing systems related to risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing.
  • Contributing to new projects and enhancing existing systems.
  • Collaborating with engineers across different tech stacks and sharing progress with global teams.

Location:
United Arab Emirates (Remote)

Work Conditions:

  • Remote, with a hybrid option requiring attendance at a company office at least 3 days per week, where applicable.
  • Full-time availability for summer 2027.
  • Open to international applicants ready to relocate to tech hubs in Poland, Portugal, the UAE, or the UK.

What You’ll Need:

  • A predicted or achieved 2:1 (or equivalent grade).
  • A portfolio of coding projects or open-source work.
  • Currently in your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science, maths, physics, or a related field (graduating in 2028).
  • A problem-solving mindset and proactive, results-driven approach.
  • Fluency in English.
