About The Role:
As a Java Engineering Intern, you will be part of our Technology team, contributing to the development of systems and experiences that drive the company's success. This role involves:
- Building APIs and developing microservices.
- Optimizing systems related to risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing.
- Contributing to new projects and enhancing existing systems.
- Collaborating with engineers across different tech stacks and sharing progress with global teams.
Location:
United Arab Emirates (Remote)
Work Conditions:
- Remote, with a hybrid option requiring attendance at a company office at least 3 days per week, where applicable.
- Full-time availability for summer 2027.
- Open to international applicants ready to relocate to tech hubs in Poland, Portugal, the UAE, or the UK.
What You’ll Need:
- A predicted or achieved 2:1 (or equivalent grade).
- A portfolio of coding projects or open-source work.
- Currently in your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science, maths, physics, or a related field (graduating in 2028).
- A problem-solving mindset and proactive, results-driven approach.
- Fluency in English.
