As an intern, you will join a community of graduates and interns focused on building their careers within QRT. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship to support your professional development, with the potential for a full-time graduate position upon successful completion of the internship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality predictive signals using large, diverse datasets.
- Analyze complex data to identify statistical patterns and opportunities.
- Develop strategic solutions through mathematical modeling, statistical techniques, data analysis, and machine learning methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines, including Traders and Software Engineers, to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an advanced degree in a quantitative field (data science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or engineering).
- High level of technical knowledge in statistics, machine learning, NLP, or AI techniques (a plus).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python and C++ or C# preferred).
- Experience with large datasets across multiple time frames (a plus).
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in any additional language is a plus.
