Internship - Software Developer

Location: Sharjah, Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time, Paid Internship (Up to 6 months with flexible start dates)

Responsibilities:
Esri interns contribute to real projects and are mentored by team members along the way. Some roles include:

• Researching state-of-the-art methods or approaches to improve software or solve new problems.
• Designing, testing, and documenting new functionality in ArcGIS products.
• Developing use cases that demonstrate the value of spatial analysis in addressing societal problems.
• Writing blog posts or lessons that explain how to use ArcGIS to achieve specific goals.
• Contributing to the development of the world's leading GIS software.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of GIS and remote sensing.
• Excellent test engineering and problem-solving skills.
• Strong development skills using Java, C#, or Python.
• A desire and ability to learn new skills and contribute to producing quality commercial software.

Language Requirements:
No specific language requirements are mentioned, but strong communication skills are implied to effectively collaborate with team members and contribute to projects.
