What You’ll Get to Do:
- Installation of electrical system components as assigned (e.g., panels, pull stations, pulling conduit, wire, etc.) to enhance and/or upgrade system capabilities.
- Installation, upgrade, disassembly, and reconfiguration of systems; operator and maintenance training; service, repair, and maintenance of electronic and mechanical security systems.
- Diagnose electrical, sensor, network, problems or failures in assigned systems for identifying equipment and/or systems repair.
- Provide technical expertise for security systems including equipment upgrades and reconfigurations at designated bases in Southwest Asia and Northern Africa.
- Collaborate closely with the site’s Force Protection (FP) personnel on all security systems issues.
- Make recommendations to the FP and On-Site FP Commander on the placement of new or upgraded equipment.
- Understand basic IP networking and RF technologies.
- Perform manual labor including lifting heavy equipment unaided, digging, laying cable, power generation, fiber splicing, and working long hours in harsh environmental conditions.
Required Skills:
- Active US Secret clearance.
- Minimum of 10 years of technical experience with physical or electronic security system projects.
- At least 5 years of experience working in electronics and basic electric circuit troubleshooting.
- Strong background in the installation of intrusion detection systems (e.g., Honeywell's Vindicator) and recent experience with electronic security systems, access control, CCTV, thermal imagers, and other security/CCTV systems.
- Ability to write detailed trip reports including sensor recommendations and placement derived from site surveys.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
- Must be able to climb towers and carry a backpack of 50+ pounds unassisted.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to be deployed to war zones.
- Valid US passport and US driver's license required.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$49,900 - $100,000
