Investment Associate

About the Role
An established investment platform is seeking an Associate to support direct investments and strategic transactions across infrastructure, industrials, and other key sectors.

Duties

• Evaluate new investment opportunities across infrastructure, industrial, and other strategic sectors, undertaking detailed financial, commercial, and strategic analysis.
• Build and review detailed financial models including valuation, returns, capital structure, financing, and scenario analysis.
• Conduct company, sector, and market research to assess industry dynamics, competitive positioning, growth opportunities, and key investment risks.
• Support the full transaction lifecycle from initial screening and investment thesis development through due diligence, valuation, negotiation, execution, and completion.
• Prepare investment memoranda, financial analysis, and presentation materials for senior management and Investment Committee review.

Candidate Profile

• Approximately 2–4 years’ experience in investment banking, ideally at a bulge bracket or leading advisory firm.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with demonstrable M&A or transaction execution experience.
• Sound commercial judgment and the ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
• An opportunity to move into principal investing, with exposure to international transactions and active portfolio ownership.
