IoT Solutions Architect

About
The role holder is responsible for providing technical expertise pertaining to customer solution design relating to IoT solutions for deployment across multiple the company markets. They are also tasked with advising on operational work processes and mandates to minimize technical and operational risks. The role holder shall carry out their duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Advises in the design, monitoring, and optimization of architecture components for IoT applications, service architecture, technology, information elements, and technical solutions to ensure compliance with the Enterprise Architect framework.
• Evaluates the gaps between as-is and to-be and defines transition strategies for addressing those gaps.
• Supports the development and implementation of testing programs that address areas across the customer design such as database impacts and software scenarios.
• Reviews and evaluates existing designs within the company to assess current capability and introduce potential improvements to infrastructure services.
• Provides recommendations, remedial actions, and measures for course correction on specific complex escalations to avoid delays or complications.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in Network design in the telecommunication or technology industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Master’s Degree in Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering is preferred.
• Knowledge of telecommunication regulations and applications design principles.
• Familiarity with fraud management, intrusion detection, and security investigation.
