We are seeking an IoT Solutions Architecture Manager to oversee a regionally-focused team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services activities, assisting customers with solution architecture, design, and delivery.
Location: Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia (Remote)
Work Conditions:
- Remote Full-time role
- Must be located in one of three Geos: Americas, EMEA, or APAC
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, promoting our technologies.
- Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback to team members.
- Identify and measure team health indicators and implement engineering processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and customers to represent your team and products.
- Contribute to leadership discussions and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional academic track record, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Extensive experience with embedded Linux (Yocto or similar) and Linux distributions (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
- Experience managing a small team and engaging with customers.
- Excellent professional written and spoken English skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
Desirable Traits:
- Experience with RTOS.
- Additional language skills (both programming and spoken languages).
- Previous experience in a remote-first, diverse, distributed company.
