We are seeking an IoT Solutions Architecture Manager to lead a regionally-focused team of Field Engineers engaged in Presales and Professional Services. This role requires expertise in solution architecture, design, and delivery to assist customers in developing secure connected devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Field Engineers in areas of Presales and Professional Services.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, promoting our technologies.
- Work remotely, managing a team across multiple time zones.
- Coach and mentor team members, providing career development feedback.
- Track and measure team performance and health indicators.
- Implement disciplined engineering processes.
- Represent the team and products to stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Develop and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with other leaders as part of the leadership team.
Requirements:
- Exceptional academic track record in high school and university.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience with embedded Linux (Yocto or similar).
- Proficiency in Linux, particularly Debian or Ubuntu.
- Fluency in at least one programming language: Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
- Team management experience and customer engagement capabilities.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
- Results-oriented mindset and personal drive to meet commitments.
- Strong ability to convey the business benefits of technology.
- A humble learner and quick study.
Desirable Traits:
- Experience with RTOS.
- Additional language proficiency (both programming and human languages).
- Prior experience in a remote-first, diverse, distributed company.
