We are seeking an IoT Solutions Architecture Manager to lead a team of Field Engineers engaged in Presales and Professional Services. This role involves guiding customers in solution architecture, design, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Field Engineers (from graduate to senior levels) in Presales and Professional Services.
- Solve customer challenges by promoting our technologies and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Work remotely within a specific major time zone to manage your team.
- Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback to team members.
- Identify and measure team health indicators and implement effective engineering processes.
- Represent your team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Develop and advocate for strong engineering and organizational practices.
- Plan and manage progress on projects with agreed goals.
Requirements:
- Exceptional academic record (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field).
- Extensive experience with embedded Linux (Yocto or similar) and Linux distributions (preferably Debian or Ubuntu).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
- Experience managing a small team and engaging with customers.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, accountability, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to communicate technology's business benefits effectively.
Desirable Traits:
- Experience with RTOS.
- Additional programming or spoken languages.
- Previous experience in a remote-first, diverse company.
