The role holder is responsible for providing technical expertise pertaining to customer solution design related to IoT solutions for deployment across multiple markets. They are also accountable for advising on operational work processes and mandates to minimize technical and operational risks. The role holder shall carry out their duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Advises in the design, monitoring, and optimization of architecture components for IoT applications, service architecture, technology, information elements, and technical solutions to ensure compliance with the Enterprise Architect framework.
- Coordinates with Enterprise Architecture to ensure Consumer/Enterprise/Functional CRs align with the agreed technology strategy and roadmap.
- Evaluates the gaps between as-is and to-be states, defining transition strategies for addressing those gaps.
- Assesses the technical blueprint design for solutions that need development, keeping technical capabilities and financial constraints in check.
- Supports the development and implementation of testing programs addressing areas across the customer design such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, and usability.
- Suggests appropriate changes to high-level solution designs under development to align accurately with business requirements.
- Supports the design and implementation of required services including network designs, VPNs, operating systems, database systems, and server consolidation.
- Reviews and evaluates existing designs within the company to assess current capability and introduce potential improvements to infrastructure services.
- Provides periodical analysis and capacity forecasting for network capacity, application capacity, features, and security infrastructure.
- Structures cloud computing strategy and architecture aligned with business needs, evaluating the technologies and vendors needed to deploy the private cloud.
- Advises on the formulation of design and engineering initiatives to ensure communication and implementation of initiatives across teams.
- Analyzes reports and metrics, identifying potential issues, and undertaking preventive measures to mitigate relevant risks while maintaining awareness of developments in technology.
- Performs other responsibilities and tasks related to the job as directed by the line manager.
Requirements
- 7 - 9 years of experience in relevant fields.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other relevant majors.
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or other relevant majors is desirable.
- Additional certifications in relevant fields will be considered an advantage.
