Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices for device management, data ingestion, provisioning, OTA updates, and lifecycle services.
- Develop APIs and integration services (REST, OpenAPI, gRPC) for OEM and enterprise platforms.
- Build data pipelines and automation scripts to securely process and forward IoT data.
- Contribute to backend development using modern frameworks, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement device communication using IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, Modbus, DLMS/COSEM, HTTP/S).
- Configure and manage IoT edge devices and gateways (450 MHz, LTE/5G).
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and other developers to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with architecture.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in one or more programming/scripting languages: C#, Python, Node.js/JavaScript, Go.
- Strong knowledge of IoT protocols: MQTT, CoAP, Modbus, DLMS/COSEM.
- Exposure to C/C++ is a plus for SDK/protocol integration but not mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with edge platforms (Litmus Edge or similar).
- Experience integrating with OEM systems and enterprise applications; exposure to platforms such as Honeywell Forge, IBM Maximo, or Snowflake is a plus.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and software engineering best practices.
- Knowledge of telecom networks (450 MHz, LTE/5G, satellite) is desirable.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, OCI, AWS, Azure).
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and visualization tools (Grafana/Kibana).
