Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers and the company sales teams, identifying data center and storage infrastructure opportunities.
- Develop and grow a pipeline of server, software-defined infrastructure, and storage opportunities within the SMB market.
- Build and maintain relationships with customer and partner technical stakeholders, including executive-level decision makers.
- Engage with customers to understand business and technical requirements and align solutions to their needs.
- Design and propose infrastructure solution architectures that demonstrate clear customer value.
- Create and validate solution configurations in collaboration with product specialists, technical teams, partners, and sales colleagues.
- Support RFI and RFP responses, solution presentations, proof-of-concept activities, and technical demonstrations.
- Deliver technical enablement and training sessions to business partners and the partner ecosystem.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical sales, pre-sales, or solution engineering role within the IT industry.
- Experience working for an infrastructure vendor, distributor, reseller, systems integrator, or partner organization.
- Strong understanding of server, storage, software-defined infrastructure, and modern data center technologies.
- Experience designing and delivering infrastructure solutions for end-user customers.
- Knowledge of cloud, converged, and hyperconverged environments, operating systems, and related architectures.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions and business outcomes.
- Professional proficiency in English, with strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
