Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT department, supervising and mentoring IT staff, setting departmental goals, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with program goals and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other teams to assess technology needs and propose enhancements for efficiency and security.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, and systems infrastructure.
- Ensure the security and integrity of data and systems by implementing appropriate measures and protocols.
- Plan and manage IT projects, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage external technology service providers.
- Monitor technology trends, making recommendations for upgrades and enhancements.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff, troubleshooting issues and ensuring prompt resolution.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role.
- Extensive experience in leading large IT projects and implementing IT infrastructure across various technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of networks, security, computer systems, and database storage systems.
