The API Engineer will be in charge of designing and developing APIs, documenting them, and managing their lifecycle from non-production to production and disaster recovery environments. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with various consumers and providers on the API platform.
- Working on various verticals including Health APIs, Property & Casualty APIs, Corporate APIs, Regulatory APIs, Digital APIs, Data APIs, and others.
- Ensuring developments align with architecture and information security best practices.
- Documenting integrations development and revisions.
Profile / Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in API Development, REST APIs, SOAP Services.
- Knowledgeable in API security, API Management, and API Gateway solutions (e.g., WSO2, Apigee, IBM API Connect).
- Experience with AWS cloud and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with the insurance domain or large technology/consulting companies is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Experience in developing web applications using popular web frameworks.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies like Git flow, Jenkins, Nexus.
