Scope and Purpose:
The IT Architect will be responsible for ensuring the smooth integration of all IT/OT components necessary to automate business processes. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with an international customer base and a dynamic, highly motivated team.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical aspects of IT/OT integration solutions in international projects.
- Participate in all project life cycle phases, from offer preparation to implementation and subsequent support.
- Develop and design IT/OT architectures that meet high availability, redundancy, and security standards.
- Adapt concepts to customer requirements and provide optimal integration solutions.
- Coordinate IT/OT aspects with internal and external stakeholders.
- Create specifications and requirements to measure supplier progress.
- Present and argue solution proposals in collaboration with international customer IT departments.
- Monitor and report project progress to management in a structured manner.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical university degree or comparable training in the ICT area.
- Several years of experience in planning medium to large IT/OT integration projects in automated intralogistics or production systems.
- Extensive experience in requirements analysis for IT/OT systems, including physical and virtual server, network, and security infrastructures.
- Familiarity with SLAs and the design of highly available IT environments (ITIL v4).
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently within international and virtual global teams.
- High analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
