The IT Architect will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of all IT/OT components necessary to automate business processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with an international customer base within a dynamic and motivated team.
Work Conditions: Hybrid, Full-time
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Manage technical aspects of IT/OT integration solutions in international projects.
- Support projects throughout all phases, from proposal preparation to implementation and post-handover support.
- Design and develop IT/OT architectures that adhere to high availability, redundancy, and security standards.
- Adapt solutions to meet customer requirements and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Create specifications for suppliers and monitor their progress.
- Present and refine solution proposals in collaboration with international customer IT departments.
- Regularly report project progress to management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical university degree or comparable training in the ICT area.
- Several years of experience in planning medium to large IT/OT integration projects within plant engineering (automated intralogistics or production systems).
- Strong background in requirements analysis for IT/OT systems, including experience with server, network, and security infrastructures.
- Familiarity with SLAs and the design of highly available IT environments (ITIL v4).
- Ability to work independently in collaboration with international and virtual teams.
- High analytical skills, structured and solution-oriented approach, and effective communication to influence team members.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
