Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute IT assurance engagements, including evaluation of General IT Controls (GITC), IT Application Controls (ITAC), and interface controls.
- Oversee Third-Party Assurance reporting assignments, including SOC 1 and SOC 2 reporting across diverse industries.
- Execute SOX audits by evaluating IT controls over financial reporting.
- Develop and implement remediation plans for control deficiencies and present findings to client stakeholders.
- Manage the full engagement lifecycle—from planning and fieldwork to reporting and follow-up.
- Conduct assessments across IT infrastructure, enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and cybersecurity environments.
- Mentor and develop junior team members through on-the-job coaching and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT audit, IT assurance, or IT risk consulting, ideally in the Middle East or within a global professional services firm.
- Familiarity with IT risk and cybersecurity standards (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001) and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, CIA, or CISSP (preferred or in progress).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional presence.
- Willingness to travel across the region, as required by client engagements.
