You will support SOX audits by evaluating IT controls over financial reporting and conduct testing of IT infrastructure, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and business applications. Documenting control assessments, testing results, and findings will be essential, adhering to Deloitte’s methodology. Additionally, you will assist in developing and implementing remediation plans for control deficiencies, drafting proposals and RFP responses, and preparing client deliverables, reports, and presentations.
To excel in this role, you will develop an understanding of regional IT regulations and risk trends while maintaining a continuous learning attitude to build your technical knowledge. Collaboration with senior team members will be key to delivering high-quality services within set timelines and budget. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in IT audit, IT risk, or IT assurance (experience in a professional services or consulting environment is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of GITCs, application controls, and risk frameworks (e.g., COBIT, COSO).
- Familiarity with Assurance and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, ISAE 3402, SOC 1/2).
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
- Pursuing or planning to pursue certifications such as CISA, CPA, CIA, or CISSP.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with data analytics or audit software is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the Middle East region as required by engagements.
