The IT Business Analyst (BA) plays a crucial role in driving innovative and scalable products, ensuring solutions are aligned with business requirements and providing ongoing business value throughout the product lifecycle. The BA collaborates with various IT stakeholders—including Product Managers, Product Owners, and Development Teams—to inform decision-making related to solution options and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in product lifecycle management, ensuring that solutions fulfill business requirements.
  • Perform business analysis activities such as requirements elicitation, solution design, stakeholder management, and quality assurance.
  • Develop and maintain business cases, focusing on optimizing business processes across departments.
  • Create deliverables according to Roche standards, including business cases, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree with 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Consultant (certifications like CBAP, IIBA AAC, or IREB are a plus).
  • Business domain knowledge in areas like commercial excellence, ERP, CRM, digital marketing, or finance/procurement.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector (pharma or medical equipment) with practical knowledge in sales, logistics, marketing, or compliance.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as SAP, Salesforce, Automation/RPA, and analytics tools.
  • Proficiency with diagramming and UI design tools.
  • Strong soft skills: listening, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving.
  • Lean-Agile mindset with knowledge of Agile frameworks/methodologies.
