As an IT Business and Technology Support Officer, you will play a key role in deriving data-driven insights through data analysis to support the development and implementation of business process improvements and standards within Digital Platform Services and Employee Experience (DPS & EE). You'll be responsible for collecting, curating, and analysing business performance data while providing actionable recommendations that foster a data-driven decision-making culture and continuous improvement.
In this role you will:
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by monitoring and assessing existing processes, identifying areas of improvement, and ensuring that established best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives for process improvement.
- Design and implement continuous process improvements that optimize operations and increase efficiency in alignment with industry best practices.
- Support project/product managers in the execution of processes as per agreed deliverables and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain a comprehensive repository of management information including process performance operational meeting minutes and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs.

To be considered for this role you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) and 3 years of experience in relevant fields such as Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology (IT), or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in collecting, curating, and analysing data, identifying actionable insights and making data driven recommendations.
- Familiarity with financial management tools (e.g., ERP systems, cloud cost management platforms, PowerBI, Excel).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with IT finance procurement and other departments as necessary.
- Knowledge of IT cost components, their drivers, and potential optimisation levers.
