Responsibilities:
- Coordinate implementation and support efforts for new and existing Oracle data centers.
- Manage vendor contributions to deliver data center infrastructure build-out.
- Create and maintain documentation for cabling and build standards associated with data center infrastructure.
- Review Bills of Materials to determine project scope of work.
- Create project scope of work documents for vendor quotations.
- Engage in vendor bidding and selection processes.
- Design and implement innovative structured cabling solutions for new builds and expansions.
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring sustainable and repeatable solutions.
- Collaborate with the Program Management team to meet project deliverables and ensure positive customer experiences.
- Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Assist in establishing global data center cabling and infrastructure standards.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in designing and deploying complete data center physical plant cabling systems.
- Familiarity with TIA Data Center Cabling Standards and cabling infrastructure best practices.
- Knowledge of network cabling, fiber optic types, transceiver types, and troubleshooting methods.
- Broad understanding of data center critical environment infrastructure, both electrical and mechanical.
- Proven history of successful vendor management across multiple locations.
- Experience with tools such as VFL, power meters, and OTDR.
