Responsibilities:
- Design & Build Automations: Analyze current team workflows and develop customized, automated digital solutions to eliminate manual tasks.
- Custom Coding: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code (primarily in Python) to bridge gaps between different software systems.
- API Integration: Establish, test, and maintain robust API integrations between disparate platforms and applications.
- AI Implementation: Explore, test, and integrate modern AI tools (such as LLMs, automation platforms, or low-code/no-code AI features) to enhance workflows.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Maintain existing automated workflows, troubleshoot bugs, and continuously optimize performance.
- Tech Advocacy: Serve as the team's go-to tech expert, recommending new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve digital efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Coding Proficiency: Strong foundational knowledge of Python (or similar scripting languages) with a portfolio showcasing custom projects, scripts, or tools.
- API Knowledge: Proven capability to work with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and data formats like JSON/XML.
- Tech-Savvy & AI Literate: Deep interest in technological trends, including hands-on experience or experimentation with AI tools and prompt engineering.
- Workflow Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., Google Appscript, Make.com, Zapier, n8n, or Microsoft Power Automate).
- Problem-Solving & Communication: Ability to analyze complex workflows, reconstruct them efficiently, and convert non-technical pain points into technical solutions.
Required Experience:
- 1–3 years of demonstrated professional experience.
- Valued personal projects, GitHub repositories, hackathon participation, or freelance work over merely years spent in an office.
- Experience in leading transformation projects focused on digital workflow automation and software systems integration.
- Expertise in scripting, setting up API integrations, or deploying low-code/no-code AI features.
Required Education:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- Relevant technical certifications or a strong portfolio of open-source contributions/GitHub repositories preferred.
