As a technical support professional, you will troubleshoot and repair issues related to computer hardware and peripheral equipment, responding to program error messages by identifying and correcting problems or terminating malfunctioning programs. You will provide technical guidance and recommendations to resolve business-related problems and refer major hardware or software problems to vendors or technicians for further service. This role includes maintaining and upgrading hardware and software, including printers, scanners, and the technical architecture of websites related to hardware and telecommunication connectivity.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair technical problems related to computer hardware and peripheral equipment.
- Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting issues.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to resolve business problems.
- Refer major hardware or software problems to vendors or technicians for resolution.
- Operate and integrate computer and peripheral equipment by entering commands and activating controls.
- Maintain and upgrade hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Report work-related accidents or injuries immediately to management.
- Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and report them as necessary.
- Follow property-specific procedures for handling emergency situations, such as evacuations and medical emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues using electronic devices and visual verification methods.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and placing objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Complete other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
- Related Work Experience: No prior related work experience is necessary.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
- License or Certification: None required.
Work Environment
- This position involves both independent and team-based tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Physical activities may include reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Must have the ability to visually inspect tools and equipment to identify defects.
