Our client is seeking an IT Data Migration Specialist to join their team in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth data migration, maintaining and improving conversion tools, supporting business processes, and delivering projects with zero critical data incidents. You will collaborate with global and cross-functional teams, coach colleagues, and contribute to the company's data standards and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage data migration activities within projects: align scope, timelines, and business processes; track activities; drive cutover execution.
  • Execute and support Data Conversion/Migration requests; maintain and enhance data conversion tools.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data issues.
  • Provide second-level support for migration tools and related queries.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer, coaching, and documentation of best practices.
  • Support IS/IT security and compliance processes, including Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and Data Center role validations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors across geographies.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data migration and conversion within SAP projects.
  • Strong SAP technical expertise (ABAP Workbench, Legacy System Migration Workbench, Migration Cockpit, SLT/LTRC).
  • Good functional knowledge of SAP modules (FI/CO, HR, CS, M+S, APO, MH, T&P).
  • Experience with ETL/SQL, data workflows, and master data lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with IT support tools (ServiceNow, SolMan, Teamrooms, Globe Portal).
  • Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with multicultural and cross-geography teams, including offshore providers.
  • Strong analytical skills, flexibility, stress tolerance, and a can-do attitude.
