Responsibilities
- Manage key activities such as project planning, stakeholder engagement, and delivery framework setup. Play a consultative role to implement the appropriate people, processes, and tools supporting the delivery framework and coach team members to optimize project delivery.
- Apply a hybrid project management approach that blends traditional methodologies with agile practices, tailored to the size and complexity of each initiative. Adopt PMI-ACP principles to strike the right balance between agility and predictability.
- Lead the Integrated Programme Planning (Lean Start Up), working with portfolio teams and supporting the Technical Product team. Drive decomposition of Roadmaps into Integrated Program/Project backlog/plans ready for handoff to the respective team level backlogs.
- Drive quality and ensure that acceptance criteria are met while maintaining a sustainable pace according to the agreed quality management plan.
- Support the Technical Product team in managing business expectations and transparency across product backlogs and schedules for all initiatives.
- Assist with cost estimation and sizing exercises for both near term and future initiatives, and work with the product team to prepare total cost of ownership.
- Promote a culture of trust and psychological safety. Practice servant leadership by removing roadblocks, resolving conflicts, and enabling team decision-making.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 8+ years of relevant experience including proven leadership and project delivery in a matrix organization with global teams.
- Experience in delivery within large technology change programs.
- Certified SAFe and PMI ACP with practical application of the Project Management discipline.
- Familiar with software delivery tools, including MS OFFICE suite, JIRA, Planview, etc.
- Good architectural knowledge of large-scale systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to foster a culture of openness, transparency, and mutual respect.
