IT Disaster Recovery and Availability Manager

As an IT Disaster Recovery and Availability Manager, you will be responsible for leadership in disaster recovery governance and planning, as well as ensuring the availability of IT services. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Participating in disaster recovery governance and planning
• Maintaining and reviewing critical business and IT services for disaster recovery
• Managing annual disaster recovery and high availability testing calendars
• Ensuring disaster recovery plans align with business continuity requirements
• Assessing continuity risks and recommending mitigation strategies
• Leading disaster recovery and high availability testing activities
• Coordinating with stakeholders, managing test windows, and ensuring successful completion of recovery activities
• Preparing executive-level reports and facilitating coordination among technical teams and stakeholders

Key Areas of Focus:

• Disaster Recovery Management: Involvement in planning, executing, and documenting disaster recovery tests.
• Availability Management: Managing the availability of services and applications, conducting performance reviews, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Achievement of agreed RTO and RPO targets
• IT service availability and SLA compliance performance
