IT Environment Support Specialist

About the Job:
The IT Environment Support Specialist manages the development environment to ensure it is available, stable, and fully operational for the development team. Key responsibilities include handling issues, coordinating with platform owners and IT Operations for upgrades, and ensuring the development team can work without disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development Environment Management: Ensure the development environment is always available and running smoothly. Act as the main contact for IT Operations for environment issues or upgrades.
• Support Development Team: Provide support to ensure the development team can work without interruptions, resolve any environment issues, and ensure the environment meets the needs of current projects.
• Coordination with IT Operations: Work with IT Operations to schedule upgrades and maintenance. Keep the development team informed about any planned downtimes or changes.
• Incident Management: Quickly escalate and resolve environment issues, coordinating with IT Operations to fix problems affecting development work.
• Environment Upgrades: Plan and test upgrades to the development environment, ensuring that changes do not disrupt the development team’s work.
• Documentation: Keep records of environment issues, changes, and upgrades.
• Security Compliance: Ensure the environment follows security and compliance requirements.
