About the Role The role involves managing the implementation of the Hotel IT plan in alignment with the overarching IT strategy, ensuring that all IT initiatives are delivered according to agreed budgets, timelines, and standards. The responsibilities encompass overseeing hotel-specific service level agreements (SLAs) and internal quality controls, managing day-to-day IT support services, and maintaining the hotel’s IT systems and infrastructures. You will be responsible for ensuring that all IT efforts effectively support hotel operations and growth while maintaining high service levels for both colleagues and guests. Key Responsibilities - Manage the implementation of the Hotel IT plan and ensure adherence to SLAs and quality controls. - Receive guidelines from the Group IT function and implement group-wide hotel systems and enterprise architecture initiatives. - Regularly assess and update the Hotel's IT systems and infrastructures to ensure security and scalability. - Deliver day-to-day IT support services, including network connections and hardware configuration, in line with SLAs. - Respond to ad-hoc IT queries from colleagues and guests, providing timely and accurate solutions. - Investigate and resolve escalated end-user problems to ensure prompt service. - Oversee network infrastructure operations, including LAN, WAN, and interconnect points. - Manage and support all audio-visual (AV) services, ensuring smooth guest experiences during events. - Coordinate AV assistance for VIP guests, conferences, and presentations. - Lead the day-to-day operations of the IT department, encouraging teamwork and high-performance standards. - Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment management procedures. - Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies and processes. - Motivate subordinates and contribute to change initiatives and process improvements. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited university. - Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent professional certification preferred. - Master’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent is an advantage. - Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, preferably within the hospitality industry or a recognized blue-chip organization. - Excellent knowledge of key IT processes, including applications, databases, and IT support. - Advanced understanding of ICT and IT security standards. - Familiarity with core hotel operations and relevant IT requirements for guest information and loyalty programs. - Good budgeting and planning skills. - Outstanding inter-personal skills.
